A Legendary Haiku
They say if you look in the mirror by candlelight & call your own name 3 times your body will disappear, leaving only your voice.
They say, but who are they? The ones who start the stories everyone’s heard but can’t tell where,
the faceless folk, shadowless as candle flames, whispering while you sleep.
