NaPoWriMo 2025 Day 2: Never

Posted on April 7, 2025 By Basil Cartryte

Never

Wherever I’ve lived,
every ocean
has never been a walk away.

When you spend money,
you’re never alone.
It takes many hands.

My dead father
does not approve.
He’ll never change.

I’ve never seen you before.
I’ve never seen you after,
but I’d like to.

I’ve never dreamed
a completely false
nightmare or bliss.
